We have finally released version 1.0 of The Receptionist Console for Asterisk.
Version 1.0 has cleaned out all know bugs and added a few nice features.
Three way transfer: The receptionist can have a three way conversation to introduce the caller.
Call classification : The receptionist can configure a number of standards classifications (e.g. sales, support) and then classify each call as its handled.
Call Reporting: The receptionist can now run a report which lists details of all of the calls that they have handled including the applied classification (if any).
Ability to dial 'extensions' as defined in extensions.conf as well as SIP extensions.
There have been a host of other small features too numerous to list here.
Please note that if you have been using a beta version of the TRC that the entries required in extensions.conf have changed and need to be updated. You can copy and paste the required entries from the config screen in the TRC.
