Hi Everyone,
This looks like a great widget, but unfortunately, I haven't been able to test it because my Asterisk box is located over the WAN from were I am.  Therefore, all the web pages are accessed over SSL.

This isn't actually an uncommon scenario -- lets say you are using your softphone in a Coffee Shop on public wireless, clicked a Dial Link -- you would have just sent your asterisk URL, username and password in the clear to anyone snooping on that public hotspot, and then who knows what might happen to your asterisk server next!

Anyway, my big suggestion for improving this nifty tool is SSL.

Have a great day everyone!

Nice idea. I've just added it to the 0.6 code base. You can now select the 'Use HTTPS' check box in the asterisk configuration.
Untested at this point as I've not set up a certification on my asterisk server.

Its tested now. It works nice with asterisk 1.6.0.6 or above.

It may be supported in 1.4 but I've not tested this.
